OPERATION MEKONG

Recently in the movie theater, there is a film based on a real event, which called Mekong Operation.

Operation Mekong is a chinese movie which have english subtitle. It directed by Dante Lam and initial release at September 30, 2016.   Two chinese actor who are Eddie Peng and Zhang Hanyu played two Chinese police in the movie. There are very popular in China and famous by their good acting.

This movie describes that thirteen Chinese crew members were killed by suspected drug traffickers who hijacked their ships to smuggle speed pills. The Chinese military through intelligence personnel and informants, also launched three countries which are Thailand, Laos and Myanmar to start a joint operation in order to crack down and smash the entire drug trafficking organizations.

When we mention the Golden Triangle, the first thought is drug. Most of the land there is all planted with poppies. And the child who born there started to drug abuses, killing people and lose their conscience in an early age. As humans, the first thing we have to understand is to recognise the right or wrong of doing things.  Drug abuse is a wrong thing that we should refuse and we must not use drugs to control and harm others.
